Varsity

Varsity is one of my most important project of 2018. Initially pursuing the aesthetic of stereotypical American university Typefaces, I ended up with a flexible is a variable font typography with multiple axes, endless possibilities and very different looks. The design space of Varsity embodies weight, width, slant and contract giving us a set with 24 different instances in total.

The letter structure features rounded curves, geometric and rational qualities. I designed a set of visual specimens for the typography and its many design possibilities.
