Piu, ‘more’ in italian, is a typogaphic and illustrative graphic design project inspired by the street culture in New York city.
The typography is an all upper-case sans serif with an exaggerated extended width and a heavy weight. Wonky contrast and curvy shapes, gives an odd, irreverent and cheeky feel to words
I made a font prototype and built an iconography around the idea of ‘more bad’, the poster series features typographic composition with some quirky illustrations of reversed and yin-yang smileys and a ready to explode dynamite.
This font is planned to be FOR SALE in a new shop section in early 2019. Stay tuned with the newsletter for updates!
